We spend a lot of time talking to people with questions and problems but it is important to remember that all we can do is make suggestions based on our personal experiences and our own interpretations of the legislation. There is no one here legally qualified to give legal advice and anything said on this forum is purely to give people options. Anyone with serious issues should seek advice elsewhere as well, firstly Centrelink is supposed to be there to help people, regardless of how it often turns out. A group called Welfare Rights have offices in every state and offer independent assistance and advice to Centrelink recipients and people applying for benefits. Finally, free legal advice is available through most community centers. I thought I get this disclaimer in before someone turns up at a Centrelink office insisting that "I'm entitled to this because Banjo from DSPoverseas says I am".

Dunno Lynn I seem to sit in the waiting area as long as anyone else. Are you back in Aussie?
