I heard of open air cinemas but open aid dentists? what's the.... ? I wouldn't trust anywhere in Asia for major surgeries. And I'd be very surprised if CL would let you overstay your 6 weeks because of hospital. They don't care, I talked to medicare, you can get it for free but they put you on the waiting list, and who cares if your illness gets a lot worse by the time you reach the top of the list. If you die, even better, they don't even have to pay the pension any longer I wrote an angry email to the dep. of health and aging. If this surgery I'm having wasn't a bad timing, I would have gone to EU, and get it fixed for about 5-600 $. Yes, that's how cheap it is there...if you know how the system works.

"I wouldn't trust anywhere in Asia for major surgeries"
High =Roxanne this couldn't be further from the truth. Bangkok hospitals are world class (actually better IMO) and receive the highest ranking with Med. Ins. companies.

Actually, that hospital is in Manado, Sulawesi, in Indonesia. Air Asia flies to Makassar, in the south of Sulawesi. Maybe in future they will fly to Manado.
