I can't get the poll working but needless to say it makes the difference between poverty and having a life,Also the only treatment that works for me is ayurvedic medicine which is not covered by Medicare and is therefore unobtainable here but I can afford on a daily basis o/s

Not sure what you want to do Slick, are you pointing out that DSP recipients are better off in Australia with access to better and free medical treatment? I suppose it's a good point, but the DSP is not supposed to be granted until the applicant's medical conditions are stabilised and no longer requiring treatment, other than things like medication.
What it comes down to is freedom of choice, if someone with high blood pressure and cholesterol moves to, say, Cambodia and has a stroke or a heart attack, then obviously he'd be better off having them in Australia within a short ambulance ride of an ITC unit.
But it's their decision to live where they please, and let the chips fall where they may. If I die here in Thailand through lack of proper medical care then it's the result of my personal decision and I hurt no one but myself.
I'd certainly vote for having a life overseas than live in Australia in poverty with good free medical care.
If you want to send me a personal message and explain what you want the poll to do and can't get it right I'll set it up for you.
