Maybe we could make our own version of Papillon guys. Papillon trapsing through the jungle with Centrelink and their dogs chasing behind.

Check my post at National Disability Advocacy On Monday a female disability advocate protested at Gillard's speech. It is just the start. Her complaint was about the unfairness of Gillard's scheme and eligibility criteria. Indeed, it is probable Gillard's 2013 election campaign will become the site of more such protests by the disabled. Labor's propaganda about the NDIS has disguised a mass of difficulties.

And kindly leave aside all ideological beliefs when you read the above statement and just analyse it for what it actually says.

The disabled have never been allowed to organise, look at how the mainstream groups distanced themselves from us, we send people to WRG almost on a daily basis but they have never attempted to talk to us other than threaten us over the privacy concerns of their employees. It's all about government funding and they defend it fiercely. Do you think they want to be involved with anyone who upsets the government?

Denis-NFA..lol Btw, re: the discussion about keeping DSPensioners in the country, I think its just for political reasons, welfare recipients have a 'dodgy' reputation thanks to mainstream media, so the government doesn't want to be seen pandering to overseas travelling "bludgers" as they think of some of us... I don't tell people I'm on the DSP because negative ideas about welfare recipients is pretty much mainstream these days. Sad. At least the disabled don't get attacked, as they do in the UK thanks to media vilifying them. That's seriously f'd up!
