Alright so I'll start with, that I have a review from a psychologist some years ago that I have high functioning autism. For me to be able to function with daily life I need things to run the same way, so if someone tells me that everyday they want me to make them a coffee at a given time and are always late, then I get upset. If that same person was to tell me that, they want a coffee made for them if they come in, I'll just ask to let me know they are in and make the coffee, so if I don't see them for a month I won;t get upset.
Today, I spoke with someone I think from the job capacity assessment, during the time I was talking to them, I was told that employment services can change their mind, so if they say tomorrow you can have some bus tickets on that day they can refuse, even if the tickets are to get to a job interview, that is how I understand it.
The appointment I had made the day before, to try and over turn my suspension, was cancelled this morning.
The call was form someone from Human Services Tasmania, who if I recall where in charge of Disability Employment Services.
To get myself back on track I need to be able to look for work at or with an employment agency, the only time I have taken a willing break, is when I have been in education or working. And with how I am at this point, I need to be doing something outside of home, and no volunteering is not an option, that didn't go so well with me when I needed help and got nothing. (Lets just not go down that path)

Pretty hard to give up when you're that young though, he comes across as fairly smart and given the right opportunities could end up with a decent job and a nice earner. You want to get some decent stuff... a good car, your own house and a few toys it's a hard ask on the pension unless you start off with them.

Have you spoken to Welfare Rights at all? No and I can say I didn't think about talking to them, so question should I wait until I recive a follow up phone call or on Monday call them up then? you are on DSP and wanna work? why? just lay back and enjoy life. i remember that they offer DSP people the oportunity to work more than 15 hours a week and still pay them DSP as far as i remember. those people will be next for review and cut off completly. in my eyes it was another trick from goverment to make people report that they are fit to work more. I applied for the Disability Support Pension not because I didn't want to work, but so I could get 'Better support looking for work' or at the time as I was told, 'the support you need' for looking for work.

Okay, its at this point where I should asked this, also this is an update.
So today I popped into the local Centerlink office and found that the appointment I was told over the phone that would be canceled with Job Services was not. So that is still on.
So now I would like to ask, has anyone else had this kind of problem, or some other kind of problem with Employment Services Assessment only.
The last one I had, I joined the line, made it known I was and what for. And then an hour later get a phone call asking if I had forgotten about the appointment, the person I was meant to see soon came out and could see that I had been sitting for a while in the waiting area.

I'll leave it at that old mate... Be Safe Michael... Thanks, and yes. Why, well: - Wage subsidy (Limited) - Limiting time for L2 Plates (Helps with getting into my P's quicker) - Some place to go to where I have free access to a photocopier, for now its costing me about $4.00 a week with my resume. - Any real work, I need someone else to also talk to an employer. The P2 are probably the most important.

Good Luck with your P/Plates and it sounds to me like you know what your doing, which is great to hear brother:) Good Luck...

Today, I was to receive a phone call From the all might Centrelink and guess what, no phone call. Its 11 minutes too six so I really doubt they will call now. Also, I thing I will update this for a whole, going over what is happing and how I follow it. With any luck I'll be able to get into this appointment and get back into the system. Sometimes saying and doing nothing works sooooo well.

to banezz,be wary of any calls from c/l after hours?? just my two bobs worth ? O I am usealy weary about phone calls, even if I am waiting for on. Anyway another update, the appointment was canceled today. Damn I was hoping she (Said female Centrelink employee from Employment Services) didn't call me back today. After calling the complaints line, I found that due to the legalization that governs Disability Employment Services, I have to wait until x date before this can be looked at again. So I am thinking going legal side is an utter waste of time. Looks its simple, I do not have motivation anymore, for me its too depressing, I'll try moving in a odd direction. So my option, I would like to go. Letter to head of Centrelink, too see if I can have my last assessment wiped, forgotten and remove my suspension. And get my self back on track. So please can anyone point me down the write track?

Hi Banezz Are you suspended from seeing an employment service because you were marked as unable to work very many hours? This would make your attendance at one voluntary, and it seems they don't like to 'waste' their resources on people who it will be hard to place in a job. Are there other employment agencies in your area? One might be prepared to take you on. A normal employment agency often has a disability worker on their staff, so you would be still getting the same 'service', at another place. However, I personally think that if you do want to work and are disabled, that you are entitled to see a disability employment agency. The fact that you are voluntary should not put you at the end of the line, in fact they should move you to the top of the job seeking queue. At the end of the day though, these places don't know of many jobs. You will pretty much have to find one on your own. Do use their resources though, since it is costly constantly applying for job. This is the phone number for DEEWR (who run the employment programs) Disability Employment Services information. Maybe you could call them, and ask them what you can do and who you should write to. General enquiries 1800 805 2608am to 6pm nationally deewr.gov.au/disability-employment-services* There is an online feedback portal at the above page, send them a note telling them what is happening for you and asking for their help on getting onto a disability employment program.

Sorry for not seeing your response before now, I know this had peen posted last year. DEEWR is the department that I contacted while I was at a centrelink office. At the end of the day, my issues where not resolved and I was forced to remain off the program for the whole six months. Now however, I am back in the system and still deeply unsatisfied with the so call high level of support I am receiving for my search for employment. Today was my latest phone hook up with cl and AATfor UP. My medical reports are spot on and I was hoping they would finally grant it to me - WRONG . They saying they sent me a medical report to be commpleted by my MD but of course mysteriously it has not been received. The AAT and myself not impressed. They have had 8 weeks to send it to me. Tried to dump it on me but that failed. I am just so pi..ed off with the waste of public money and mindless bureaucracy that permeates the government. Then I look around and read on this site how many members are being stiffed and Goveernments are whinging about the cost of welfare, when they foster such stupid idiotic senseless wastage.
