People posting on Dspoverseas and forums like it should be fully aware that everything they contribute becomes public knowledge.
The only way around this is to close the forum to all but members but the very nature and goals of DSPoverseas dictates that our information be public.
I carefully moderate this forum, it's the only way to have it run peacefully and do what it sets out to do but this will always offend some people, trust me, there are days I don't particularly like Banjo myself.
But the principal objective is to help people, in particular DSP recipients, achieve their goals regarding travel and the freedom to live where they like.
To do this we don't need to know every one's most intimate details, telling us you have leprosy, hemorrhoids and bulimia and demanding to know how many points you would get in your assessment is a waste of time, we don't know, and no one else here can say with any certainty.... BUT, this information is now public property.
Mockery, sneering and ribald comments are part of human nature, I moderate them out but some always get through.
What I cannot do is moderate personal messages.
A particular type of internet pest will send personal messages to his victims pointing out things that he knows would be removed from the forum probably with repercussions.
My advice is to ignore these messages and delete them unopened after the first one, there is nothing you can do and nothing we can do other than ban the culprits and they'll be back with a new name, and even with a new IP address the next day.
So keep your personal details off the forum and don't get into off forum battles in the PM system.
