Like most Centrelink legislation the law is quite vague and open to considerable interpretation. So they can use it against us. A wise man on this board once said... we are all too young to get married. A bit of practice to get it right doesn't hurt though. hi guys well im on section 24 and have been since 2012 but i recieved a letter they were doing a review so i called them up from the philippines to do a phone review they done the review so i called them back yesterday and low and behold they cancelled my section 24 so they transferred me to the partnered rate which is $593pf so its almost a loss of $200pf so i jacked up and said i want to talk to a team leader so i spoke to the team leader and since my partner has no source of income and is not working and is going to study to do a buisness managment course for 3years the team leader said she didnt know why the other officer stopped my section 24 because i still qualify for the section 24 so the team leader revoked the other officers decision reinstated my section 24 which was good i was having bad feelings that i would have to appeal incompetent decisions again
