I am under 35 and currently applying for UP, In my JCA for UP I was assessed as able to work 0-7 hours but prior to the last JCA I was listed as 8-14 hours a week, Might be a good idea to have another JCA and be assessed as being able to work 0-7 hours a week

If I was in the prophesy business my next guess would be an attack on wages. Their next move ..... that was their 1ST move.

Unions brace over proposal to cut weekend penalty rates June 4, 2014
Australian unions have vowed to fight the business lobby's push to cut weekend penalty rates, warning the move could create a US-style underclass.
John Osborn, the chief operating officer for the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said it was mobilising members for a national campaign to cut weekend penalty rates.
''We need to look at Sunday penalty rates and how they are adversely affecting employment opportunities, particularly for the young,'' he said.
''We should bring Sunday penalty rates down at least in line with Saturday rates. We don't live in the 1950s any more, we live in a modern 24/7 community in the digital age and we need workplace laws that reflect that.'' Advertisement
ACTU Secretary Dave Oliver said unions would challenge the attack on weekend workers which he said would also affect nurses, police, ambulance workers, fire fighters, pharmacists and miners along with retail and hospitality workers.
''I say to the business lobby, [Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry] chief Kate Carnell, Tony Abbott, and the Liberal backbench, if you want a fight over weekends in the Australian community, let's do that,'' Mr Oliver said.
''We will fight this unfair push to cut people's pay in workplaces, we will fight it in the Industrial Tribunal and we will fight it in the community. We know that the vast majority of voters, even a majority of Coalition voters, reckon workers who work Sundays should get paid more.''
He said workers should be adequately paid for giving up Sundays away from family and friends. David O'Byrne, the national secretary of United Voice, said the push to cut Sunday penalty rates was ''an outrageous attack on predominantly low-paid workers''.
''These weekend rates make up a significant proportion of take-home pay,'' he said. ''Using the guise of job security to attack weekend rates is intellectually dishonest. This is very much about the Americanisation of the workforce and creation of an underclass.'' The Fair Work Commission will on Wednesday hand down the result of its annual review of the minimum wage.

If I was in the prophesy business my next guess would be an attack on wages. Yes they will say the only way to get unemployment down is to lower the minimum wage, the liberals commission of audit receommended it be lowered from $660 to $488, l guess the liberals do what big business wants . l think abbotts aim is a USA style economy , little or no welfare and dirt low minimum wage and with a massive gap between rich and poor,

well like i said bring on the food stamps that is the american way! l don't know about food stamps but twiggy forrest says he wants all 2.5 million people on welfare on the basics card and have the government manage 100% of our income, we would have to record in a diary every time we buy something, funny thing is l don't remember voting for twiggy, l guess under abbott mining magnates determine social policy, abott says he wants to extend the basics card but not twiggys plan of all 2.5 million people on it,
