So do we know yet how much the increase will be by? Every can't and dollar helps.

It's indexed so it should be a few cents more than the one in March... about $6 a fortnight/single rate.

YIPPPEEE! $6.00 = 150 baht so is almost all my beer for the week. 3 big leos while on a diet. OOps not celebrating yet as I just realised that's only per fortnight. Damn.

The increase this time last year was $14.10 so hoping it's a little closer to that.

Oh wow, and notably they give it to you in dollars and cents, no round out to the nearest dollar.
I'm hoping for $10 with a tiny increase in the Supplement and Rent Assistance.

Aussie25, who is usually fairly close to the mark, says $11.50

I'm hoping for $10 with a tiny increase in the Supplement and Rent Assistance. Unfortunately for us overseas we wont quite get to $10 Chris. If they are using CPI quarterly figures that is. March quarter was 0.2% and the June quarter was 0.7% giving a total of 0.9% increase. That works out to $7.24 if you are on the full overseas paid pension and supplement of $804.50.

Looks like The Greenman is correct, They have just updated the rates for next pay and it appears to work out at that amount for a full fortnight.

Looks like I was wrong about them using CPI figures as the increase is only $6.40 per fortnight if you are overseas. In other words it's gone from $804.50 to $810.90. Bit less than 46 cents per 14 days. Refer guides.dss.gov.au/guide-social-security-law/5/1/8/10Banjo wins the tipping contest.

Denis-NFAI just now logged on at Centrelink and checked on the amount of my next fortnightly payment. According to these figures, I'll receive an extra $2.61 per fortnight on my OAP . . .

The next pay I receive only includes an extra $1.83 but that is about timing. After that I have a regular increase of $6.40 per fortnight. For overseas paid singles that is. And it is not CPI. I haven't looked at what the increase should be for Australian resident pensioners.
