I just received a letter
Saying I have an appointment for a JCA. It says : to help us offer you the most suitable payment and services, we need more information about your ability to work. An appoint has been arranged for you with a Job Capacity Assessor to help us gather this information. During this appointment as assessment will be conducted to determine your ability to work.
I am so scared. I hope they don't cut my pension. My illness is depression but I no longer take medication because of the side-effects. I hope that doesn;t affect my pension.
Does anyone know what happens in this assessment. Any advice or what to do.

I'm not really sure, you don't appear to have been asked to bring any treating doctor's reports so it may be just an interview. All you can say is that your condition has not improved, you fall into the age group they seem to have targeted.
You have certainly tried to work and your inability to keep a job must count for you.

I have being through JC Assessment twice. Do not push your self. Do not worry. Be as you are. bring in all confirmed doctor's diagnosis in writing, reports on MRI, X-rays etc. If they will need a copy - let them make it. U should be OK
