Alan Simakoff's name is a matter of public record. Lol, I didn't realize he was a big-wig. I used to send him cheeky emails, each time I received more proof of my allegations, pointing out to him that I had it. But mainly pointing out that if he had given me the On-Q file from the outset, we wouldn't have to be going about it all the long way. ;D

At the same time that I made my complaint to the Office of the Information Commissioner (Privacy Commissioner) about my disability service provider in October last year, I also lodged one about Centrelink staff and breaches of privacy and information handling laws by their officers.
I had used their online form, and later emailed the proof of my allegations, as the situation unfolded. Finally, after hearing nothing from them, I offered to put it all in the mail.
I quickly received a response that my allegations were unsupported and therefore not going to be investigated. Once I had finished with my first case, I was going to follow up on these matters. Maybe I should appeal that decision to this same process now - Federal Court.

I think an internal investigation of a complaint is doomed, their whole system is based on a knee jerk ''us against them" reaction. As we have shown over the last year, persistence will pay off though.
