I heard her on talk back radio today. Someone later suggested she should have turned up with a five cent coin and ask for change because 2 cents are no longer in use but she just happened to find an old one at the time. i spoke to a girl at human services today about Mr. Tudge telling fibs. First thing i said to her was " this call is only a waste of time" It was because she hung up when i finally told her she was a bigoted dill. She said there are many cheats and she couldn't believe it when i said there were none. Her attitude again showed me what we are up against. rich right wing terrorists.

That's hilarious but I wonder if some self important flog at Satanlink refuses to accept it because 2c coins are no longer used (are they legal tender still?) Like that's something Satan would do.

I'd just write that one off as one of the few bad apples that work in Human Services. Most I encountered have been pretty good. She really shouldn't have that job if that's the attitude she takes.

2c coins aren't legal tender anymore.
It costs Satanlink money to print and post these letters - considerably more than 2c. They used to write off debts of less than $50 because it was not cost-effective to recover them.
This is sheer madness.

Normally it gets rounded off to the nearest cent, similar to when at the checkout while shopping etc. It does go to show, to what length the bastards will go to, doesn't it. They must be very desperate or something like that, as long they have someone to pick at. Whoever posted that letter, must be some type of an idiot and or a zombie type of person ??

It's probably a computer brain fart but still funny.

I am surprised the 2c isn't worth more than 2c to a collector these days. However, 1c and 2c coins while they have been taken out of circulation are still legal tender as long as you don't use them for more than payment of 20c. So good on ya Kerry for giving Centrelink your 2c worth
