Welcome to the board jesco In this e.world anonimity seems to have gone by the wayside, perhaps someone smarter than me can set you straight on the matter. I see they already have. Centrelink International Service Number 131 673 Cheers bear Thanks Bear, I might try that International Service Number (131 673) when I get an opportunity to use a phone other than mine, cheers. RIGHT... after a few failed attempts at getting the facts anonymously, I gave up and phoned Human Services. I was told a DSP recipient can be overseas for a max. period of 17 weeks/119 days without having their DSP cancelled. You will be paid for the first 28 days only (can be paid longer under some circumstances but not applicable to me). Hope this helps others, cheers.

Guys-remember that its 28 days paid in any 12 month period. Thats not a calendar year,eg.say you go over seas in August for 28 days, you won't be eligible for another paid 28 days until August in the next year. And if you split the time up,it goes off the last date. Eg. say you go overseas for 25 paid days in February, you will have 3 paid days left. Then if you go overseas later in the year, lets say December, you will get paid for the 3 days then suspended. And then you won't be eligible for another 28 days paid until next December.
