Just heard on radio that Cebu Pacific will be starting flights from Cebu to Melbourne direct in August.

Confirmed in Bangkok post paper today for you guys in the Pines. Cebu Pacific 3 days a week Manila to Melbourne direct.

Pity they can't have direct flights to Brisbane, ah well I guess it's because Sydney and Melbourne are bigger population centres.

Not that I ever book the itinerary, but the number of them that come up flying out of here to Brisbane; with stopovers in Melbourne or Sydney is a real lot.

There are now 7 airlines flying the Bangkok - Chiang mai route. Was only Thai when i first arrived. Seen as low as A$25.00 recently with Thai lion air. Truly amazes me. You too can be nomadic these days.
