I'm in NSW, I can remember a while back when I had a scan on my shoulder at a pathology clinic something very strange happened.
After I went to the front desk to check in and show my Medicare card and Health care card, I was escorted into a small room for a quick assessment.
The guy just basically stood in front of me and asked how I was for about 30 seconds. And then he said ok have a seat. WTF? It was as if he was checking my mental health condition?
Has anyone else experienced this?
How did a third-party external organization get hold of my personal mental health information?
Is the info shared automatically when I hand over my Health Care Card?
Or is the information shared from the NSW Government?

Yesterday I was talking to a web marketing person and some of the information she showed me was amazing. I asked her, how does Google know all this? She replied, "Google knows everything".

I have come to the conclusion that when I hand over my health care card to any health provider, my file is filled with 'probable mental illness because of no visible physical disability present'?
I think they do this as a risk factor for someone to have an episode in their clinic.

This is a preview of things to come in the future. It'll be interesting to see how far it all goes. I myself have not opted out of the health data sharing.
