Yup the deeply flawed under 35's reassessments and the robo-debt. And the Nazi cashless welfare card.
Even though Labor did initiate the DSP changes the LNP grabbed it and took it by stealth with drunken power.
With the cashless welfare card I bet the UN-elected member of parliament Twigglet forrest is trying to breath down Labors neck to roll it out with his dirty money.

I will never forgive The Mad Monk and Smoking Joe for their brutal and cowardly attacks on the most vulnerable in our land. I will always remember a conversation I had with a homeless man who was sleeping rough near Circular Quay. When he talked about the pain of being separated from his wife and child in Thailand he said "Abbott ruined my life". I have little faith in Karma, but Abbott losing his set in Warringah may give a small measure of peace to the many souls he has destroyed.

Everyone knows my thoughts on politicians but Anning has gone to depths not seen since Hitler. Posted on F.B. but later removed. "If you want to live next to a Muslim vote Labor," I thought Bolt, Hanson, Abbot, and Scumo, etc were bad but Anning is right up there with Adolph. Pure evil. Maybe he is Hitlers clone from The boys from Brazil.

Today marks 5 years since the worst budget in my time was delivered and being this was before I ever joined here I can say I was extremely pushed into anxiety and depressed, stress because of the DSP changes at the time that affected me but the reassessing under 35s really was the clincher. I consider myself grateful that I passed the review that ensued the year after but it was a reminder that LNP are always the worst option of the two major parties no matter (imo) how bad Labor can get. Excellent comment, I fully agree. Thank you Paddy for bringing it up in so a simple but effective way. The Romans taught us "Divide et Impera", divide and rule (or divide and conquer). In politics it means gaining and maintaining power by breaking up larger concentrations of power (common people, us) into pieces that individually have less power than the one implementing the strategy. Strategies to do so are various, the most common: spreading cynicism and putting all mistakes/misdeeds on the same level, such as saying "they are all the same" or "better the known bad, that the unknown", etc. Have a good sleep

Just read that in polling the greens are ahead in Higgins which is/was Costello's seat. Never been anything other than Lib since created in 1949. If Higgins and Kooyong fall then they may even be totally finished as a political party. Highly unlikely but we all here know they should be so fingers crossed. Would be the biggest story ever in Australian history. So probably only dreaming. BUT? Or the nightmare that they will do a William Buckley and come back from the dead.

Yes, not over till the fat lady sings. Seen so many unbelievable comebacks in my time that I never go the early crow anymore. I have been 5 lengths in front halfway down the straight and got done many times. So I'm tipping the libs to win. Certainty. Anning and palmer and Hanson many seats also. Again Certain. Labor/Greens no seats at all. That's my pick. My money is on this result.

This blokes come back from the dead; according to the AEC. Makes me wonder how many more! Still at least this fella wouldn't be voting for the establishment. You know, there's no complete 100% guarantee, that our votes are accurately & honestly represented + counted.
With all the corruption out there, would anyone be surprised, that it's easily possible for them to manipulate & alter the results to suit their agenda and as they see fit?

Remember also that Howard was a first in a long time sitting PM to not only lose the election but lost his seat at the same time. Safe seats aren't really all that safe when you consider some recent NSW by election swings.

Hanging is what they need doing to them all right. If the cross benches are swamped with a rabble I'll be a happy chappy. And personally I don't care which one of the two forms government with them if Labor & Greens don't get a guernsey, because I think the people in general are well and truly over the lies, BS and far right policy favouring the fossil fuel companies, lobbyists etc.; and it will not be a brave government to not take heed of this, but a very foolish and stupid one. To do so would likely see protests of an un-before seen scale, possibly leading to anarchy. Cheers bear

I'd rather Labor minority with Greens over that but ideally want more Greens in Senate and Labor majority government.

Yes, you have always been a supporter of the despot. The end of the two party tyrrany is inevitable. We need either more major parties, or a CIR.
