Let the reds under the beds come out and have a go. Could not possibly be any worse.

Yes, you have always been a supporter of the despot. The end of the two party tyrrany is inevitable. We need either more major parties, or a CIR. It's unlikely to happen under the Westminster system of government that favors the two party system. Proportional representation is a lot fairer and gives minor parties a lot more seats. I read somewhere that under a Proportional Representation system the Greens would have had twice as many seats as the nationals in the last election, getting 1,300,000 votes to 600,000. Edit: Current numbers are the Greens one seat, Nationals ten.

The system is flawed when only 19 first preference votes went to Anning and he still won.

Just been listening to Barry Cassidy from ABC Insiders who is considered a Guru on politics. He seems to be saying the best the LNP can hope for is narrow defeat. But at worst if the big names like Abbot, Dutton fall then a big defeat. But almost no chance of an LNP win. Let's hope he is right. Never been more interested, even excited in an election ever. What a horrible thought if all goes pear-shaped. So I'll help the cause by tipping the LNP. Although that's fraught with danger in reverse reverse Psychology. Chock dee to all of us.

Yeah, but I don't think that will change whoever wins unless Greens and Independents have a big say for the prisoners. But even more disgusting is the way they are putting disabled on the dole. That infuriates me more than the travel restrictions even. But both are human rights abuse that must be finished. Torture is illegal in most countries. And our politicians torture the disabled which is worse again.

Barry Cassidy and Antony Green have always been ' men of the establishment' , after all they are payed by them. Neither of them are even considering a minority government.

l can imagine what lovely welfare policies Moronsum will bring in if he wins THe centrelink ankle bracelet with GPS tracker so centrelink can know your location at all time to ensure you attend all mutual obligation requirements and anyone who goes within 200 metres of a pub or gambling outlet has their payments canceled. a private company with liberal links will get a $100 billion taxpayer contract for it All centrelink recipiants must attend church each sunday and have an attendance slip signed by a priest or payments will stop( Tony abbotts in charge of that one) The centrelink logo must be worn on the shirts of all welfare recipiants in public so they can be idendified and all welfare recipiants must stand and give their seats to other people in public transport if the bus or train is full. Centrelink will be privatised and run from an Indian call centre whose people cannot speak English, the average call time to get throught for assistance to payment application is 8 months The welfare card which will be expanded to all welfare recipiants will now only work at certain stores owned by liberal polticans and can only be used to purchase bread and water and porridge which will be marked up 1000% above the market price Any welfare recipient wanting to travel overseas need to get written permission from the immigration minister who is too busy to see you for the next 5 years All applicants for the DSP must attend an interview at local centrelink office as the only way to obtain the DSP, any applicant who attends the interview will be deemed ineligible for the DSP because they were well enough to travel to their local centelink office Medical certificates will no longer be accepted and all welfare recipiants who die will no longer be allowed to use their own death as an excuse not to attend mutual obligation or jobnetwork appointments unless a death certificate is provided in person REMEMBER these will all be tough love policies implemented for our own good becsue the liberals really love us

that's even funnier than wombat79. Let' hope we are laughing on Sunday morning. Seems like will be the biggest upset ever if LNP win. My friend's wife went to the temple for me just before I got UP. So I may pop in tomorrow myself to say gidaye to Buddha. But I'm told it doesn't work for the lottery.

Yes, you have always been a supporter of the despot. The end of the two party tyrrany is inevitable. We need either more major parties, or a CIR. Three majors is possible and a more realistic outcome. Need to gain more Greens to make that happen. Hopefully starting with Kooyong, my new seat of Canberra, Higgins.
