There are a number of articles in the press right now about the Liberal Party selling off our Hospitals to secret entities, with secret directors in the Cayman Islands. Billions of tax payer's funds are being secretly transferred to a tax haven. We all know Turnbull and others linked to the LNP have secret accounts in the Cayman Islands. Abbott is involved but he refuses to comment. This is an appalling breach of trust by the LNP and must be fully investigated. thenewdaily.com.au/money/finance-news/2019/05/01/hospitals-sale-healthscope-cayman-islands/

Totally agree mulloway. The hospital sell off is only the latest in a very long list of dodgy deals. The $80 million water sell off is another example. Years ago before entering politics a bloke bought three large broad acre border properties for the water divedends, through a complex series of companies. As luck would have it, over the years he made and remade the company structure, finally ending up in the Caymans; and $80 million bucks in the red. Over those years, as luck would have it again, he was elected to parliament as an LNP member, rising up through the ranks to become a minister. It would appear through media stories, he became really friendly with another minister connected with water, who was dead set against water buy backs; until he learnt of his mates misfortune. Then all of a sudden he had a change of heart, and bought back the water from the three border properties. The big problem for both now is; the water was runoff water held in man made recepticles i.e Dams; and buy backs are only to be made from riparian sources i.e Rivers. Any how the upshot of all this is a minister bought back illegal water to the tune of the same amount owed in the Caymans. Coincidence; I don't think so. Criminal; most probably. Will anything come of it? We can only live in hope that the both of them will end up on the inside staring out at the world wondering what they've done wrong; afterall from their from their privellidged born to rule mentality; how could helping out a Mate be a Criminal act in Australia. May I caution Forum Folk to not get too caught up in this.
I would be more concerned of sell off of our Ports.
And remember, those hospitals cannot be taken out of Australia!

I just read it so WHY denis? Again it seems like a massive corruption story. But like the biggest story in history for me; The Panama papers. Lasted 5 minutes and never heard of again. WHY? Just like the biggest story ever in Australia. Abuse of the disabled by Centrelink. No one wants to know about it other than the abused. WHY? Lots of why's but never any answers. WHY!

Denis-NFAIt's somewhat late to be worried about our ports mate; unless China gets 99 year on more of them. Having Darwin just says in great big letters; welcome to Australia troops. And sure, the bricks & mortar stay in Australia; but any profit goes overseas and no tax gets paid here. Australia's wallowing furiously in the mire, and digging itself a bigger hole every single day; too many unsupervised cooks in the kitchen, too many unwatched pots on the stove, IMHO. Cheers bear

You would have thought that when the Panama papers story came to light that both the media and the general public would have demanded answers. The biggest names in politics and other rich and famous people were implicated in these tax crimes. Turnbull was one name and we all know how rich he is. But it was worldwide not just Australia. But never heard of again. WHY?
