Hi does anyone know the link to request a call back for Centrelink. Usually there's a contact us page and then you type your message and then Centrelink calls you back in around two days. I can't find it anymore. I usually use this instead of ringing and being on hold for 2 hours.

The only call back option I can find is through Twitter quantumranger. If I find another option I'll post it in this thread. Search term:- "Centrelink messaging call back service." Cheers bear twitter.com › centrelink › status Web results Centrelink on Twitter: "@genzy8 You can request a call back thru 'Message Us' on this page: bit.ly/m2BWoQ Family Assistance call centre is also open til 8pm."

quantumranger here's another:- www.bca.org.au/centrelinks-call-back-system/Even though it's through BCA(blind citizens Australia) maybe you can still register. I think the registration options are:- online, by phone or at a Centrelink office. They provide you with access codes and a pin to use the service. Cheers bear

Is there a section where you message centrelink. I don't know why they got rid of it. Centrelink’s call back system This system will eliminate the need for you to wait on hold with Centrelink for more than 5 minutes. This call back system holds your ‘place in the queue’, and then they call you back, which saves you time and expense. You will however need to register for this service. Options for Registering for phone self service include: Register online at Centrelink Self Service register with Centrelink over the phone on 136 240 Register at a Centrelink service centre You will need your phone self service ID and PIN to use the place in queue option. You will also need to have your Customer Reference Number or Customer Access Number handy. You may be offered the place in queue option if your call wait time is more than 5 minutes when you call Centrelink between 8 am and 3 pm, Monday to Friday. www.bca.org.au/centrelinks-call-back-system/
