This is what I got when I emailed and requested my latest JCA and Sonic Assessment
I refer to your attached request The Department of Human Services (the department) has administrative access arrangements for the release of certain documents, with customer consent, without the need for a formal FOI request.
The documents that you are seeking are routinely available through the department’s Information Release team and your request has been transferred to that team for processing.
If you have any questions you can email the Information release team at tpo.consent@humanservices.gov.au
Unless you tell us you are not happy with this arrangement, the FOI record will be closed, noting the request is being handled by the Information Release team.

We've had the same happen to a member before quantumranger . They were wanting their whole file though. From memory they emailed the release team @tpo.consent@humanservices.gov.au and queried the decision; who then sent it back to FOI to facilitate. Cheers bear

Thanks I will send that email a reply because I got this reply last month and haven't heard anything back Good help seems harder to get from the re-branded "Services Australia" than it ever was from DHS/Centrelink; and that's saying something. Cheers bear

They say that your request has already been sent to the team. So as you haven't got a reply after a month, give them a hurry-up call.

if you still havent received a reply you could also ask your federal mp to chase it up on your behalf, save yourself the hassle of contacting them

Personal experience has found them to be no different, just depends on the individual.

quantumrangerThey initially flapped around when I requested my file and asked me what I really wanted to know. I told them and was supplied by email on 23/12/2019. Did you get an FOI/LEX Number regarding your enquiry? If you requested by email and haven't got that number then I suggest you apply again. The FOI mob are not back until 2/1/2020.

A former member had a similar response to their request and I've just remembered, I have already mentioned it at #2. Cheers bear

But what I'm worried about is some of these say 12 to 24 months that's why I'm scared I might trigger a review.

If it means in order to get your 20 points the assessor has to have seen as a requirement; that the first four items will last for more than two years, I don't think you'll trigger a review before at least two years, if ever. But I'm only guessing....... hopefully someone will understand the process better than me. Cheers bear P.S. Do you have any mutual obligations?

My JCA report categorically stated I couldn't work the minimum number of hours and didn't have to meet any obligations though they did talk about the above. Maybe you should go pro-active and apply for Unlimited Portability?
