One thing, it is important that both parties offer support for this bill as the greens don't support it and they have the balance of power in the senate. That said, it will probably pass tomorrow. Being under 35 I wonder what that will do for me.

Even more of a nudge for the Liberal party, Senator Birmingham always replied to my letters and was quite helpful with information. I found Senator Fifield replying regularly to my emails over the last two years but he seems to have given up on me recently. In fact I haven't had a reply from anyone for a while, even to my snail mail letters.

If anybody is on the internet now, they can watch the Australian Parliament Senate right now, and the Unlimited Portability Legislation is coming up for debate, possibly before 2pm AEST. It is 12.35pm in Canberra (8.35am in South East Asia/Thailand). According to the Live Broadcast, the Senate is up to General Business Notice of Motion No. 737. Have a look at the Dynamic Red: www.aph.gov.au/Parliamentary_Business/Dynamic_Red

Good Work Rowdy.
I'm in South East Asia now, and I had difficulty with getting an internet cafe with properly working headphones, so I have just rushed to another internet cafe.
I'm watching the Senate live now.
Rowdy, can you tell me what the Division was about?
Where are they up to?

It's 1.45pm in Canberra, and at 2pm there will be Question Time in both the House of Representatives and the Senate.
The House of Reps Question time is usually much more exciting, with Tony Abbott, Julia Gillard and others shouting at each other et cetera.
Once Question Time begins, we will have to wait until about 3.30pm until the debates on legislation resume.

Actually, I have been looking at the Dynamic Red, and it appears, in my estimation, that the Unlimited Portability Bill:
Social Security and Other Legislation Amendment (Disability Support Pension Participation Reforms) Bill 2012
will not be debated until about 5 or 6pm this evening, or later.
The Senate will sit until about 8pm or 9pm AEST.
