I received a letter from Senator Fisher yesterday, she says....
"We understand that the Government intends their changes to restrict DSP payments to permanent residents of Australia. DSP recipients will be allowed to travel outside of Australia for 13 weeks of each year".
I went into Welfare Rights in Adelaide and was allowed to place a notice about our website on their public notice board. The guy I dealt with last year was very unsympathetic, not sure if it's personal dislike that's the issue there or what.
Time to plan a little for the worst case scenario I think. If I'm stuck in Australia I'll certainly appeal the C'link decision as far as I can.
