I am lodging a complaint regarding my original 2010 assessment for DSP.
I believe they f--ked it.
I have one opposition politicians secretary waiting to here from me but I have to get my head around how to say it properly.
I have told c/l that I object to their treatment and classification.
Will have to go back next week to front them.
My next move will be to walk to Canberra from Darwin....protesting the treatment of DSP people.
DSP Embassy.

Canberra from Darwin? That should attract some attention. I'm not sure how you will go lodging a complaint, you may need to request a new assessment then appeal the decision if it is refused.

Chartering a boat to take us to Christmas Island, would be easier on our bodies, and make more of a statement. If you walked to Canberra, they would claim that you must be well enough to work, even if you did die along the way. Boarding a vessel to leave Australia, due to its treatment of the disabled, and to escape persecution from corrupt Centrelink employees and restrictions, would be more of an embarrassment to them. We can all have a holiday together in the detention camp there. It won't be much different than living under their proposed new laws.

Please bring some coffee with you spacey. Hmmmm caffeine. Had run out two days ago myself. It was the first thing I bought this morning. In the detention centre, it would be free.

Greetings All, Finally settling down and been in legal reading mode. I could not find the thread but someone put up the link to the Guide To Social Security Law ( www.fahcsia.gov.au/guides_acts/ssg/ssg-rn.html ) which I have been digging around in. Does anyone know if Centrelink uses this guide?

I'd say they probably wrote it. Might be worth watching when the changes come in.

Mine took about 2 weeks after he promised to have it done in a few days. Others seen to have take up to a month. There's doesn't appear to be any set time in the rules but if it took more than a couple of weeks I'd be ringing him/her up and complaining.

I heard that they are supposed to be completed within 13 weeks, but don't quote me. Mine took 14.
