I wrote yesterday to J Gothard who is the constituent officer for Office of the Hon. Warren Entsch MP. I met her a few times and she's willing have a closer of this legislation. They the opposition, but labor and greens are useless anyway. Maybe she can dig up a loophole or something.

Opposition MP's are often the best option because they can do things like query government departmental decisions in forums like Senate Estimates. Most of the Senate Estimate hearings transcripts you will have read on this forum would have arisen from questions asked by opposition Senators. A Government MP would try their best to bury the issue.
