I just got an account statement from Centrelink and my latest payment shows that it's been reduced slightly further. Now I'm only getting $536/fortnight......down from $564. The pension supplement part of it has been reduced to $17/fortnight. That's only $268/week. There was no explanation given.

I'm definitely appealing. I'm just keeping everyone here updated as to what is going on. My case is turning into a real litany of neglect, despite the government's idealistic announcements.

Good post PTV.
'There is also the ever popular belief - if you can manage that (travel) you cant be too sick / injured'.
Before I even applied for the DSP I had "flare up" of my condition and it was painful to walk a long distance, but hey guess what? airlines these days are very disability friendly. Why do they say its difficult to travel? taxi check in and wheel chaired to the plane arrival, wheel chaired to customs in taxi again. easy
