I got a letter from the guy I talked to last week about the agreement with germany. He personally wrote me with his explanation and attached a copy of the policy, which could be written in chinese, if someone understands this should be awarded! here's an abstract "DSP autonomous customers travelling to austria or germany cannot be transferred to the agreement at the 6 weeks mark unless they have been assessed as severely disabled.(n.b. customers that reside in australia and are qualified for DSP only due to the AT / GE agreement and are not SD may still be paid for 13 / 26 portability under the agreement.)" He provided also with a link, the updated one: guides.dss.gov.au/guide-social-security-law/10/14/100#australian_disability_support_pensionAustralian Disability Support Pension DSP for people living in Germany can only be granted to people who are severely disabled.People living in Australia can qualify for DSP under the Agreement if they are not severely disabled. However, they cannot take that pension outside Australia, including to Germany, for more than 26 weeks. What the f that supposed to mean. We had a couple of people who were fluent in govtspeak but I haven't seen them for a while.

I would say it means the same as NZ mutual agreement.
As I have stated on previous posts.
I was advised to apply for the pension under said agreement
I was warned that if I proceed,ie new assessment ,JCA,etc,
I may lose the DSP altogether
Under the NZ agreement one has to be classified as severely disabled and unable to work for up to eight hours p/ w
Fortunately I passed
And may I add this was all done online ie,all paper work was emailed
Under this agreement the AWLR is practically insignificant as time in both countries is added, which is not the case with other countries
Apart from the AWLR
I would say the process is the same,ie under the NZ agreement ,one can go to a Third country for up to 26 weeks and be paid
In my case I do not have a clue why my Basic pension rate has been cut from $766 down to $ 655.59
And I am currently waiting for a response from these arrogant swine

Hmmm
Just browsed that link
My interpretation as it suggests
Is if you are severely disabled or classified as such, you can, like in NZ, be paid in that country indefinitely ,otherwise you may only travel for up to 26 weeks, which flies in the face of current restrictions and the threat of four weeks as of Jan ,next.

So up to 26 weeks is ok, or up to 26 weeks you still need to be severely disable no matter what. Sorry, Eng is not my first language, but even if it was, I'm not sure if I would understand it. What it seems to me, that CL just added their own little clause or whatever they call it, despite the agreement.

Nothing would surprise me
Getting real information from these clowns is not part of their policy
It would be easier to get blood from a stone
Even though it's in English,as you have stated it may as well be in Japanese or gibberish
You will never get a defining answer,,all ass covering their rear ends

Anyone who thinks the Centrelink doesn't doctor the rules should read "Guide to Centrelink Law" with a copy of the Social Security Act handy.

I have a letter stating my AWLR is more than needed and my pension wont be affected And anyway I think it doesn't matter in regards NZ as the add time in both countries,
