Dear Sir, I would like to take this opportunity not to thank the federal politicians I wrote to recently for the computer generated reply saying they would get back to me. It doesn't count if you don't get back to me. I wrote expressing my concerns regarding a press release describing projected changes to the Social Security Act limiting the amount of time Australian citizens on the Disability Support Pension can spend outside the country. These changes will effect around a million voters... count them Mr Rudd, Ms Macklin, Mr Abbott et al. If you do decide to reply to my letters, I'd appreciate an explanation of how these changes will save three million dollars a year; with all those naughty globe trotting pensioners staying in Australia giving the public health system a good work out and claiming rent allowance and all those other allowances they miss out on while overseas. Regards,

A quick note to the Greens....
Hi there Greens! Did you know that thousands of Australian pensioners are forced to spend up to a third of their income on international air travel? These are Disability Support Pensioners who choose to live outside of Australia and therefore have to return to the Fatherland every thirteen weeks. Not to worry, Julia Gillard/Jenny Macklin are about to take away their right to travel freely like other Aussie citizens anyway. We'll lose our Australian residency if we keep it up! I've contacted a lot of politicians of all political colours on this matter but we're definitely not one of the trendy minorities, cheers,
