Over the last year members have had what could be considered full allowance to vent their opinions of political figures and parties.
Personally I'm beginning to tire of it and I'm aware that other senior members here feel the same.
Starting from today news articles must have a DIRECT bearing on Pension Issues.
These articles will not be posted in several different threads because they are from different media outlets.
Use of abusive nicknames of public figures will be limited.
Staff will remove irrelevant, repetitive and abusive articles and posts without comment.
Pensioner Chinwag will not become a political platform to replace articles no longer welcome in General.
Members are reminded that Disability Support, Age Pension and Carers Alliance Forum (incl. DSPoverseas) was originally formed to assist people with Centrelink problems and lobby political figures for the change of unfair legislation.
This still holds, our credibility is not helped by it becoming a political discussion forum.
Other groups on the internet offer ample opportunity for this.
