One of the problems that we face here is the need to maintain our credibility when we work outside the forum. A lot of the people we try to communicate with will take any excuse to ignore us, foul mouthed and abusive posts suit them fine.
I realise that dealing with Centrelink generates a great deal of anger, swearing may be a natural reaction but it's not going to get you any more attention here.
You'll notice that some words cannot be typed and posted, there's a reason for this, they are blocked in the forum control panel. Adding symbols does not change this, they are still the same words.
Overuse will result in deleted posts, there will be no explanation, we have better things to do with the time we spend here.
Keep it civil please, we know you're angry but a few exclamation marks will convey the same effect otherwise we're just another 2 bob forum that gets ignored.

Staff recently had to delete a post criticizing those who's disabilities don't prevent them from carrying out certain public activities. This forum is well aware that there are also people who rort the system, just as there are those in all walks of life that get away with things that they should not. Some of the politicians that strongly oppose welfare are regularly caught with their sticky fingers in the till.
We're not, and never will be under the current forum administration, about singling out people who should not be receiving welfare payments, media outlets like the Murdoch press spend big dollars doing this every day, they do not need our assistance.
Thousand of genuinely disabled people are refused welfare every year, mainly because they are unable to stand up for their rights, or are even unaware that they have any.
Let's stick to helping those people.

Of late we've had a few members log in after they've had more than a few; maybe not a skinfull, but more than enough to keep things civil.
This behaviour is unacceptable and will not be tolerated under any circumstances. Anyone who makes irrelevant or disrespectful posts will have their posts deleted an placed on a ban.
