Have you also thought of doing a FOI request so when they say you are a complex vase you can refer to your own record and show you aren't?
If I can help at all let me know.

I suspect massive debt was just another scare lie. MAY? he said. Must be you have one or not. Where does he get MAY from? Just as i was told someone with no arms would not get enough points for UP. Well i have both arms and got it shortly after. Nothing but lies to deter people.

YES, when approved I will be doing that tasjo From my Empolment Separation Certificate in 1993 to Time Current at application for FOI. I need some light entertaining reading to while away my time to departure. Cheers bear Thanx for the offer of help! If it's too daunting, rest assured, I'll let you know.

Send me a list of books bear and I'll oblige. The ebook forum is very active but you may need a new password for the library.

Personally I would be calling complaints on Monday and asking them to clarify why your claim is 'complex... if only so they know you aren't just going to take what they say.

spot on tasjo. if they understand you are not going to give up they may figure that they are only wasting time/money by causing delays and that you will eventually win anyhow. I was knocked back on a very small amount of money I claimed back but as soon as I appealed it to SSAT they gave it to me as obviously would have cost mountains more for a hearing that i would have won anyhow. It's often just a game of bluff that you can beat them at especially as it seems in this case to be victimization.

Let's all wish bear the best news today. I actually woke up during the night and realized what day it was and starting growling for a few reasons. So let's sum up this madness. Late last year he is offered to change from DSP to OAP. They offer him, not the other way round. He fills in paper work saying yes please and all is done. But no, now 2 or 3 months later his case is very complex and no decision can be made until May? I want a $million in compensation so bear should get A$billion. This is not at all possible is it? Persecution can be the only reason because he possibly mentioned his legal right to get UP.

G'day all, I've had a joyous day at the docs. Been worrying for four years, essentially about nothing the head of Vascular Surgery at the PA Hospital tells me today. Yet it was hospital GP's that escalated it to urgent. Back to yearly scans with my own GP at Home and they were the ones who had her relinquish her authority to them. Go figure! Cheers bear

Better safe than sorry though. A few years back i had a sore on my tongue that never got better in months that may have been cancer they thought so did a biopsy and no problems eventually finding out that it was caused by a sharp tooth that when smoothed down solved the problem. I was thinking the worst also. beers all round i think. chock dee.

Yahoo, just had a call! All good, pension approved today. I've got to hand it to them though; they're trier's. Had a discussion re Portability being only for six months. The end story was if I was overseas longer than six months, it would be escalated to Centrelink International Services and that may cause me problems so; told him I already know I can live overseas for at least three years without a problem if I advise CIS, I just have to go my allowances on departure. He said,"You obviously know a lot more about it than me. I'm just reading what's on the screen, I'm from IT." He called because of my recent inquiry and just wanted to allay my concerns. What a decent bloke! You little ripper! Cheers All and Thanks for Your Support, bear

Slightly off subject but same vain.. I called Centrelink this morning, waited 5 minutes and then got a bloke who was very helpful, knew what he was talking about, even going out of his way to offer information that will be helpful down the track.
A good start to the day after the horrible stories I have read.
