Hopefully they could understand it using the link with three options; the article, the video may be above some of the paygrades; but you'd like to think the story book would connect. Cheers bear

I went through the lists and I think I have been affected by about 15 different things on them and there was no mention of being verbose so that makes 16 as bear just experienced. I enjoyed it though.

I have a brain injury which I got working part-time while on DSP about 2 years ago. However two MRIs have shown nothing. My WorkCover (workers compensation) claim has just been rejected for lack of evidence despite the symptoms.

I've had an ABI since I was 8, receiving a fractured skull and various other injuries after being hit by a car. I can attest to the anger, frustration and isolation as well as people telling me I was lucky (f##k I hate it when people bring that one up!).

Yes, Tevros it is the most discriminated disability of all. I was told that first up and have found it to be 100% true and family members and previous best friends have been by far the worst. But my brain injury makes me abnormally happy. So who cares.

My first thought after being given the news that no it is not schizophrenia was yes I know the world sucks and I'm right! I also had thoughts of this song -

Maybe one of these years car manufacturers will build the equivalent of an air bag for pedestrians.

But my brain injury makes me abnormally happy. So who cares. I bought a book on living with a brain injury (sadly it's out of print now) and at the back of it it had a two page 'hand out' to help people understand WTF is going on. Copy attached. It's been useful to give to friends and partners to help them work out how things roll - everything looks fine from the outside!
