Howdy folks... Just wanted to introduce myself... I have been on DSP since 2007 for mental health issues. I have never had any nasty issues with Centrelink but I've seen it happen plenty of times. I have been on NDIS since last year when it finally became available in my area. Some issues with that have arisen which I have yet to iron out.
I am in my mid 50s with an adult son. My Mum in her 80s is my carer. I also live with my disabled brother in his forties. He has a mental age of 8 and is nonverbal. We all get along well but it is not always roses getting support as will become apparent when I start to post. I hope that my experiences may help others on the forum and I look forward to seeking support and sharing ideas that may be of use. I am deeply concerned by the apparent roll-out of the Indue Card and will be watching this on the forum closely. Time for coffee and cookies... Thanks for listening!

Welcome to the forum cookie. It seems as though you are in a fairly good spot personally, from what you've said above. Hope your mum's in good health with a long life ahead as well. The insidious card is on every thinking person's mind with the current government being so bloody minded about everything safety net related. Looking forward to hearing more from you as time goes on. Cheers bear
