i called immigration here in Bacolod yesterday. i tell them i am due for a visa extension , this week . he told me that there will be no penalty while quarantine measures are in place. when restrictions are lifted , go to immigration, & visa will be updated, probably with backpayment if needed. but no fine for being late to extend visa. Word of caution when in PH dont take the first advise as the last.. double check like your life depend on it mate. Don't do a late one for F sake. You got 30 days to register for the excemption

That's good advice for anywhere in Asia.
In government, the left hand doesn't always know what the right hand is doing.

Same here currently with a ban on alcohol sales to stop social gatherings but i can still get it fairly easily. But sellers risk a year in jail and anymore than 5 drinking it together in the open up to 2 years in jail. So it's hotel roof at 5.00 after we smuggle it in.
