I really feel for those stuck in the Jobactive system, but I am hoping the next few weeks become eye openers to the general public who endorsed people on Centrelink being punished. I honestly thought after so many people ended up on Centrelink that providers would have to start treating people better, but it seems to be the opposite, their bullying tactics are now on steroids. Before I got approved for DSP they started calling me every week and asking in an aggressive tone if I want to look for work. Then the other day they called me out of the blue first thing in the morning with no warning of any appointment and told me they were calling because I had an appointment booked that day. So apparently being on Centrelink is now an on call job where you can be called in at any time on any day of the week with no warning. I believe they are under directive from the government to act more aggressively.
Thankfully because I’m now on DSP I told them I have no obligations and they are exiting me from the system. I guess the next few weeks will be telling as I have already seen on fb comments of people who have a job to go back to in a month being told by their provider that they will cut them off if they don’t take any job offered to them by their provider.

Yes em they certainly seem to be on a mission alright. Maybe it will work out for the best and those who still we're happy to belittle pre-existing jobseekers will get their comeuppance, and receive an epiphany. The good news is, you don't have to spend your time and energy on them any more. Cheers bear

Yes this parallels with a story i just read about a Texas woman who wrote on FB in March that the virus was a socialist created hoax and trump was greatest man ever. She said no need for mask or gel or anything else. She died today from the virus. May those who support this system end up being forced to experience it also. Because then we can say;"I told you so" unlike the woman in Texas. How can so many be so misguided? Yes, Germans in the 1930's were also.

Thankfully because I’m now on DSP I told them I have no obligations and they are exiting me from the system. Congratulations. I have been on and off Centrelink for 10 years. Out of ten years, I have probably been on Centrelink for 5 years, stopping and starting for a few months each time, as I am unable to comply with the Job Network demands.
