I saw an article saying winds of over 220 k's an hour. Mindanao area. I can't imagine it. Stay safe. As a Queenslander I don't have to use imagination regarding these things. Should you wish to experience it through the eyes of those on the ground, this article may help..... It really is do the best you can in hunkering down and a live die scenario. That looks really nasty, it appears to be going straight over Dumaguete, one of the nicest cities in the country.

Take a look at Central K.L. a few weeks ago. I know these places well. World wide it seems. But we have been told a million times this will happen more often.

A special Happy New Year to our Members in the Philippines. Hope you are all managing ok after that horrific storm that some of you almost certainly would have been caught up in, and you have been missed in your absence. The devastation I've seen in videos of Talibon and Bohol is beyond belief, with relief measures still ongoing daily. Being geographically ignorant of your actual locations I sincerely hope you all fared better than the people have done there. Stay safe out there; cheers bear
