Also the office of your federal MP will have a number that they always answer immediately from my experiences with them and other politicians also. Often toll free but not always. you can find all the numbers at www.aph.gov.au/

PLEASE give some advices I can't really say with any certainty flyingsolo . RTA; sounds like your in NSW. In Queensland it's similar legislation and if you have concerns about not following requirements, speaking to your GP is the first port of call. They are the ones that fill out the paperwork up here. If they say it's not required, a renewal is done and I've never heard of anyone falling foul of Centrelink for doing so. One is state government; the other federal!! Cheers bear

I dont live in NSW flyingsolo but do have family members there who have been on DSP... as far as I am aware there is no link between the payments and licencing.
If you were ever queried you could always indicate that your wife primarily uses her licence for identification, having a licence doesnt mean it gets used.

YES Tasjo she doesnt drive at all. but she got the licence when she was 19. now she is almost 40. she is worried to lose it without renewing. i am very concern about it because due to applying for a low income healthcare card her dsp wiped out. in licence renewal application form asking *DO YOU HAVE MENTAL OR PHSYSICAL DISSABLITIES WHICH AFFECT YOUR DRIVING? * DO YOU TAKE ANY MEDICATIONS WHICH AFFECT YOYR DRIVING? if i say yes then i have to organise whole bunch of documents and she has to do dsp driving test or something. but when they sent renewal forms she was on DSP. but if necessary they would have to sent those forms attached to the renewal forms right? because RMS can see her on DSP because of concession verified with centrelink
