NDIS former inaugural Chairman calls for changes to independent assessments
The architect of the National Disability Insurance Scheme is disturbed that the Federal Government is still committed to an assessment model that has been slammed by the disability community.
Bruce Bonyhady, who was the inaugural chair of the NDIS, says the foundation of the scheme is best quality planning and that the current automated process "cannot possibly identify individual needs".
