Hi all. Ive got unlimited portability. I wish to immigrate to Europe. Which country is the easiest to move to? An eventually get an EU passport.
I want to get a campervan and travel around Europe. This is quite difficult to buy, register and insure if not an EU resident. Ive done some research. You can set up a company to register a vehicle but sounds expensive.
Has anyone else done this. I need an EU country i can get a 1 year visitor visa. As you can only do 90 days in the Schengen Area. I know Germany and Denmark you can do further time in as well. Portugal looks ok but alot of changes to the visa program.
I dont want to buy a property. But buy a campervan to travel around in. Im a female.
Thanks

Hungary might be worth looking at as well.

I know Turkey isn't Europe but it's similar to some Eastern European countries and the long term/ residency visa system seems to be a lot easier. I liked the country myself and know people who holiday regularly on the "Turkish Riviera".

Good suggestion Banjo. There should be expat guides on the internet as well.

I like SE Asia myself.
I'd find it too cold the further North I went.

I'll admit that I had something in mind a bit more tropical than where I ended up. It's only a couple of months of the year though and daytime max temps rarely drop much below 25.

Hardly had a really cold night this cold season and days are always hot. Already thinking about the fan again during the day. But I'm like Denis; leave me out of anywhere cold.

I'm not sure if it's the best, but Ireland is certainly one of the easiest to obtain a second passport through Ancestry.I think it goes back as far Great Grandfather.
When you've got it the world is your oyster, you can live work and study in around 27 Countries.
For me Spain and the Greek Islands are beautiful, people food etc, you'll be spoiled for choice.
If all else fails come back and I'll adopt you for a price of course ๐๐๐คฃ
P/s The best part is that you can pass on your new found ancestry to your Children and other close relative's. Happy travels...

I dont know how to reply to an individual post. Also if i repeated myself again thus website is very difficult to navigate on my phone.
I have no Irish ancestry so that wont work. Yes have read the steiner post previously.
Q if you immigrate to a country with a social security agreement is that essentially worse. It was when i moved to NZ as i only got a 89% of the basic DSP based on working life calculation. So if i choose a non agreement country ill get 100% of basic DSP. Thanks
