l guess this is probably more useful then wasting your time with the useless jobnetworks www.standard.net.au/story/2067616/job-seekers-roadside-pleadood good on him this is what i was talking about, shame the bastards, but i know it makes no difference if there is no work out there, and i have never had any thing to do with a job network, but my brother is going to them now and sais they are a load of crap, he walks in waites 20 min after the appointment time, then some one walks out and tells him lol we have nothing on our books for you, see you next time ,the process takes 22 min, a 20 min wait and 2 min chat.

But they sure know how to line their pockets with taxpayers money, look at all the operators of the networks that have become multi millionaers like Rudds wife. One of the finest Queenslanders I ever met was a 'Kanaka'. He, and his daughter, protected me from some folk in Townsville once. There are many laws that I think are not appropriately drafted.

now its been suggested that the retirement age be lifted to 70, and it will come in the end ,sooner or later, but of cores if your a rich pollie you can retire early, The irony being, politics is a job you can actually physically do 'til you're 70! Brickies, nurses, dog groomers, etc. etc. etc. etc., not so much. If your job was/is physically demanding, the chances that you can still do it at 70 are almost zero. Your back will give out, or you'll get RSI, or you'll be injured in a workplace accident, and then where do you go? Mostly likely, DSP. All these increases in the number of people claiming DSP is almost entirely down to increasing AP age. A lot of people genuinely can't work 'til then. Keeping them on DSP an extra 2 years doesn't change things at all.

I think we should all apply to become judges of The High Court of Australia! Yes, that's one job you can do 'til... what, 98 or so?? You don't even have to be able to stay awake all day to do it; a couple of my friends are lawyers and they all have great stories of eloquently arguing their case to a dude who is clearly asleep; eyes closed, snoring, drooling on himself... Doesn't matter, the court stenographer's taking it all down, the judge'll read it later with a glass of brandy in his comfy chair. Hey, that's a job even I could probably do! *lol*

I saw a movie once where people lived in utopia untill they reached a certain age and were killed, the population never rose over a preset amount. Except for the utopia bit, I reckon morrison might go for the culling idea, I mean the the OAP cant afford to fart, and they freeze in winter and boil in summer so put us out of our missery, better than being starved frozen and boiled
