Does anyone know if a Total and Permanent Disability insurance payout will affect my DSP? I've just heard from my lawyers that I will be receiving a payment in the next few weeks.

yes it will if you stick it in the bank and you earn interest that is more than the max available income you can earn in a 2 week period

Is this tied up with military service Gazza? Sometimes that gets special exemptions.

Can't see a problem, I think you'd just have to declare any interest as income.
