How much does my employment agency receive in funding by centrelink? This question has been placed on yahoo answers, perhaps some of our members would care to answer.
More details, I am receiving the Disability Support Pension and I am signing up with a (Waiting for the paperwork to go through, for the moment well two months now I am switching employment agencies) Disability Employment Agency, each time when it comes to me asking or in some cases demanding assistance with say a job interview. I am told that they are not funded for this or that. So how much 'Funding' do they receive for having me on there books. answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20130430173428AA4G0tu

All questions relating to how much Government pays employment agencies, should be directed to Mrs Kevin Rudd, aka known as Therese Rein who sold her shares for several hundred million dollars so that Kevin would not have any conflict of interest difficulties.

Why would anyone direct questions to Therese Rein ? she has been out of the business for years and from what I understand she has a very good reputation . she has done a lot of good work in the community as well.but if you did ask her you might get the truth. On the other hand try getting the truth out the catholic church who's work in the community will always be questioned , are still in the business and unlikely to ever face charges for rorting [THE Catholic Church's employment arm has been systematically rorting the taxpayer-funded welfare-to-work program, defrauding large sums from the multibillion-dollar scheme] if their lap dog Tony Abbott gets his way. Not only the Catholic Church's employment arm. In the same newspaper dated April 21, there is another article on the subject titled "Job agencies facing fraud enquiry after audit of fees".
The article begins "Just 42% of job finding fees claimed by employment agencies were found to be genuine in a top level audit released yesterday of the $4.7 billion welfare to work programme" and the article continues in a similar vein.
It is a business that has gained a disreputable reputation. Too many agencies around collecting fees for little result.
If an audit is needed today, a lot has slipped through the net already.
The fact that someone can put together a government fee collecting business whose sole payer is the government and make so much profit from processing job seekers that it is possible to capitalise the business for several hundred million dollars, and sell it into the market at that price, just shows that the job placement industry is non competitive, and an inefficient expenditure of public monies but highly profitable to those involved.
They did not make a profit and a profitable business doing a socially useful task well, but by being able to capitalise upon a system that was inefficient, and reliant upon freely available public monies with minimum audit. It has been like that for years.
That the wife of the Prime Minister, instead of pushing for the business to be reformed in the public interest, instead makes a living and an extraordinary profit off an inefficient, poorly audited system, reflects very poorly upon the Prime Minister himself.
Too many people are grossing fat at public expense. Yes, its a fact of life, but a disreputable fact, whereby personal interest trumps public interest and it happens because the audit systems seem to be not up to the task.
And for those involved to pretend that they are there for the public interest, is just too big a pretense to be believed.
