Centrelink spies They're the Centrelink spies. See how secret surveillance teams are catching out welfare cheats who give different names and addresses to receive double the benefits. aca.ninemsn.com.au/article.aspx?id=8673041Don't ask me about this, I don't watch ANYTHING on rubbish like ACA.

Sounds like a good thing to me if they crack down on those cheats , the more cheats the less there is for us honest people.

Indeed, at least an opportunity to pay the money back.
A little story here, in the depths of my residency/overstaying/SSAT wars with Centrelink I was at one stage over $60,000 in the hole to them. I said that I expected them to bring criminal charges against me for such a large amount and they went all coy and mumbled something about it "being a grey area".
That was when I knew residency was bullshit and it would never stand up in a court of law with a proper defence.

It wasn't much Zorro, I was going to have to live to about 150 to pay it back, but it was all overturned in the SSAT with payments returned.

Don't for once think these investigators only check on people that they have strong suspicion's about.I was followed and my injuries, operations and specialist reports are all there for them to see. I had not been someone who had claimed for a long long time until a drastic change in my personal circumstances. These bastards will go to any length's to get people of the DSP,even people who are clearly medically entitled to it.
