Banjo suggested that if Ms Michalina Stawyskyj (Branch Manager, International Branch) and Mr Philip Moufarrige (Section Manager, International Policy), who appear to be the two primary architects of the legislation restricting the overseas travel of DSPers, were to visit this website, they may frown upon DSPers becoming socially and politically organized, and Banjo suggested they may intervene in individual cases, perhaps viewing the individuals as "troublemakers" or even "vexatious litigants".
However, I watched the Senate Committee hearing live on the internet, and Ms Stawyskyj and Mr Moufarrige appeared to be highly professional, very senior public servants. I would say they are on 100-150K at least, with cars, fringe benefits, big homes in leafy Canberra suburbs. They have a lot of power over thousands of lives, which they enjoy, and at the same time, they appear to have very high levels of professional integrity and professional ethics. There is absolutely nothing to suggest that they would ever even consider doing something so utterly stupid, unprofessional, unethical, and possibly illegal, as targeting individual DSPers for Centrelink action, in some kind of vendetta.
However, the same cannot be said for 100% of Centrelink and FaHCSIA staff....

The staff of FaHCSIA and Centrelink are warned that the legal challenges which are being prepared by Disability Support Pensioners will likely involve extensive and aggressive Freedom of Information requests, requests which will delve deep into the internal decision making machinery of FaHCSIA and Centrelink, and if somebody in FaHCSIA or Centrelink is doing something wrong, something unethical, or even something illegal, there is a strong likelihood that you will be found out. There is going to be hundreds, even thousands of Freedom of Information requests, and if there is the slightest evidence of unethical or criminal wrongdoing, we will hunt you down and find you, and then you will be sacked, in disgrace, the matter may be referred to the AFP, and there are dozens of empty prison cells that are ready and waiting for you.
