G'day Banker. I visited Centrelink today. According to what i was told, the govt are going to review Disability Support Pensions and maybe make some difficult changes and requirements as there is a lot of easy wroughting going on. Not good news for some.

The reviews will definitely happen, the people who will be affected will be those qualifying for the DSP after.... 2006 is it? What needs to be asked is if they are not going to shift the goal posts for people on the DSP before that then what is the point of telling them where they can and can't live? They "grandfathered" people in 2004, and in 2000 before that, our point is they can do it again. They are going to take someone who's been on the DSP for 13 years, is 62 years old and hasn't worked since 1996 and retrain him for a job?
Welcome to the board oldsailor, we'll look forward to what you have to say.
