I'm not entirely sure this is the right place to post this, but there's some really interesting blogs coming out of the UK, where people stuck on welfare post about their day-to-day lives.
A Girl Called Jack is one of the best; a single mother blogging about feeding herself and her son for £10/week ($17!!)
