I'm still regreting not buying heaps (for me) of USD$ when we were getting USD$1.10 not so long ago. In last 20 years has been between 49 cents and $1.10 so I give up on trying to guess what it will be tomorrow. As Iv'e said before; As long as something comes out of the atm after i push the buttons i tend not to worry anymore.

This week I got 40.81 pesos, which is not bad considering it was down to mid 37s about 2 months ago. This leaves me about PH2000 pesos better off about $50. I use Citibank here and in Australia, and they give me excellent rates good bank to deal with Now go on my son, keep going you little Aussie battler

I've be consolidating my de-centralized banking system. Without going into detail, this may be something worth considering. I've had one, had it cancelled for non use over quite a few years, when the company consolidated my multiple accounts yesterday. A new one is on the way! What is it? A multi currency Wallet issued by Virgin to holders of a Velocity Frequent Flyer online account. It can only be applied for within the site; so you have to sign up. I am also under the impression you have to be in Australia to get the wallet; as I applied for one for a Thai friend, citing my address. They have an active frequent flyer account, but no wallet turned up. It can be loaded with Aud. so no transfer fees and converted whenever you choose, depending on the rate. It is essentially a travel card issued by Virgin, backed up by Visa and supported by your own BSB & Account No. with Greater Union. The card has full card functionality with CCV. Velocity Global Wallet®, has 50 Thb fee for cash withdrawals OS and no fee for purchases. It may not be for everyone, but in my situation it should be invaluable. Just wanted to share, cheers bear
