Abbott has handed over government decision making to big business. Such as the Productivilty commission which recommended the age pension be lifted to 70 years old and the commission of Audit will be run by the Business council of Australia which recommended the $6 doctors fees. Looks like they will be making decision to benefit the big end of town at the expense of those at the bottom

I only have one problem with this article....right at the end, she mentions the selection of Andrew Forrest to oversee the review of indigenous training and employment. Then she goes on to say that "Mr Forrest is one of the richest men in Australia. His appointment to lead the review for indigenous workers should raise eyebrows".

Andrew Forrest has a very close connection with aboriginal people and has created many opportunities for them in the North-West of Australia. I read an article in The Weekend Australian magazine about him once, and was quite impressed. Apparently he had a lot to do with them when he was growing up.

Yes we all wait for all the recommendations to be made by all the committees.
With so many committees making recommendations.
It does make you wonder why the politicians are in Government.
Getting through the Parliament could be different.
Will be interesting to see how Clive Palmer votes?

If chistopher Skase and ALan Bond were still around the Liberals will probably be seeking advice from them on what to do with things like Medicare and the disability pension. Looks like its the big end of town that gives the orders and Abbott follows, whoever said Abbott was GIna Reinharts Butler wasn't too far off.
