There is a new parliamentary inquiry into social inclusion for victorians, here is a news article:
The Family and Community Development Committee will investigate how Victorians with a disability participate in society economically, socially and civilly.
One focus of the inquiry will be to define what social inclusion means for Victorians with a disability.
It will look at the nature and scale of exclusion, and recommend ways to increase social inclusion.
The inquiry will also cover examples of good practice shown by local government and community organisations and look at whether State Government services and initiatives have helped improve inclusion and participation.
Public submissions to the inquiry are open until the end of February and can be lodged through the committee's website.

I have to say thanks for aussieinusa for telling us about the other inquiry, for which I did write an anonymous email submission too, not sure if it was even relevant but I had to write something. Thanks aussieinusa for breaking it down into small bite sized pieces for us who dont have the energy to go through it all, I was wondering if you could do the same for this inquiry? Thanks!!
Also, I am interested in making some posts on the twitter account, can someone PM me the password? I wonder what is the best way to increase the number of people following us on twitter, as I imagine that's the best way to get some more visibility, if anyone knows much about maximising exposure for social media please let us know..
