Hello everyone, I will apply for UP the problem is none of my doctors have the new impairment tables and information that is used to make a determination on a persons case if its severe or moderate, I have tried to look around the forums if someone could help me out with the relevant information that my doctor should have could you point me in the right direction please. there was a table with examples from what I recall,, whatever you think will help them assist me would be appreciated. Thank you.

Thank you. wild1, it's not so much that your medical folk need to know the tables but more that they can declare on their part of your application (and I forget the exact questions) that, 1. there is no further treatment which will assist or alleviate your impairment, and 2. your impairment will last for 5 years or more, and 3. your impairment does not allow you to carry out meaningful work for any length of time. In other words they need to be able to declare that you are 'stuffed'. It is important for you to be 'aware' of the tables because C/L use them and your responses to them to make their own assessment of your 'capacity to work'. As scallywag has said, there is enough information at the links to keep you busy for awhile but I don't believe your medical folk need to know that in the same detail. All medical practitioners in Australia are regularly notified by the Government of requirements for completing DSP applications just as they are aware of Medical reporting requirements for insurance claims and workers compensation claims. If your GP will not fill in your DSP claim then either ask for a referral, or find a GP that will, and have your records transferred. It is your medical history.
