BENDIGO pensioners will get a rise in their payments this month, but some say it’s not enough. With the rising cost of living, pensioners and support organisations say the increase needs to be bigger. The federal government announced on the weekend that single pensioners would receive $13.20 extra per fortnight, while couples would receive an extra $19.80. mp's crying poor, recent article in H.sun says mp's crying poor and asking more and extra on top of their mobility and moving allowance etc.lets say about $15.000.we all know that they very likely to get it its gonna cost them a lot and they have to work very hard,like nodding their head a few times,rising their hands up for 2sec then put it down. there are many pensioners those cant even able to do this simple particular hard work due to injury or sickness. feed up of these insults. $13.20 extra?what a joke

Even this guy is jumping on the band wagon. Member for Batman, Martin Ferguson AM MP, announced 24,000 pensioners in Batman will soon receive an increase in their pensions to help meet increases in the cost of living. “This will make a real, on the ground difference to the many pensioners living in the electorate of Batman,” Mr Ferguson said. I saw on TV last night that the new increase in the fuel price will cost the average motorist an extra $30. a month,,,,,,,,,,,, so there goes the new pension increase. Price of fuel goes up every thing goes up and on it goes plus all with extra GST for the Govt
